I am extremely sensitive to medications, and I am always apprehensive about taking any. I found the 30 mg dosage a bit too strong for me and gave me the runs. Taking 10mg in the morning and 10mg in the afternoon works fine. It makes my stomach feel very calm, I can get very bad acid reflux indeed, and this product never fails to work. I am pleased with it.

I was prescribed Omeprazole 20 milligrams capsule daily whilst taking a regular NSAID . On 2 occasions I accidentally missed a dose but took my capsule 24 hours later with no ill effects. Obviously its best not to miss a dose if possible. This is my 8th month taking omeprazole and I have no reason not to recommend it.

Profile

Omeprazole is used to treat certain stomach and esophagus problems (such as acid reflux, ulcers). It works by decreasing the amount of acid your stomach makes. It relieves symptoms such as heartburn, difficulty swallowing, and persistent cough. This medication helps heal acid damage to the stomach and esophagus, helps prevent ulcers, and may help prevent cancer of the esophagus. Omeprazole belongs to a class of drugs known as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs).
